Hans Toonen and Hans Wientjens have been working as self-made photographers for about 30 years. Originally, they mainly made artistic and graphic work such as posters, record covers and productions for magazines, often drawn or painted or combined with photography.
Gradually, the duo specialized more and more in taking beautiful pictures of people and soon followed cover publications in national and leading international magazines such as Playboy, Maxim and FHM. Their work is internationally praised for its own glamorous style with beautiful light and stylish poses.
In recent years, Hans & Hans have increasingly followed their hearts and have picked up the thread of 'free work' again. Nowadays, they make special art photos under the name 'The Guys With The Same Name'. Their work now hangs on the walls of galleries and art collectors worldwide.
